Problem

KAY PROTECT automates food safety checklists and integrates data across sources such as food safety audits, health department inspections, and cleaning and sanitation product usage. This helps streamline complex restaurant processes and protect against unique sanitation challenges, while speeding operations and improving data visibility and accuracy. • Need to keep a check on safety check from food items to shelf items • Task should be easy and automated so the employees can focus on their day to day tasks too • Reports of the quality of the stores to be available to keep an eye on the store items and help in placing the next set of orders based on them

Solution

It combines digital checklists, remote temperature management and push communications to provide quick and easy access to information delivering a broad food safety overview of your operation. • As per their current day to day routine, they are using a device to tag the checks on the items. Utilise the same device for checklist too • Provide managers with an ability to set compliance checks and the responses and the corrective actions

Impact

The users usually spend around 4 mins on completing a checklist filled with 10 questions or less which was reduced to within 1 min by reducing the steps between them 28% reduction on average sessions spent on completing the checklist activity with the right follow through questions Managers were able to spend 2-4 mins less on user management to add new user into the system
